Abstract:Frogs are a good indicator species for the health of an ecosystem. For this reason, the size of the frog population in a certain ecosystem can give a good indication of the health of that ecosystem. At the same time, it is harder to estimate the size of a frog population than it is to estimate the size of other populations of animals. Therefore frog populations are often not represented well in existing Species Distribution Models (SDMs). In this paper, a model is proposed that is able to more accurately calculate the distributions of frogs in an area. In the first part of this research, a review is given of the existing literature in the field. In the second part, an actual model is proposed to effectively predict frog distributions.
