Abstract:The most significant paradigm shift in modern business management consists of the change that organizations no longer exist as stand-alone entities, but as supply chains. (Lambert & Cooper, 2000) Based on location, the principal-agent theory, and the social capital theory this paper investigates, via two ranking based preference experiments, which attributes are of most value for these organizations concerning their supply chains. The results of the ranking experiment are imported to SPSS and via a conjoint analysis and two simulations the most preferred attributes are pointed out.
