Abstract:This research examines the usage rate of the action research method in HRM. To see whether the HRM field is using action research, a literature has been conducted. A clear finding from this literature research is that the HRM field hardly uses the action research methodology in comparison to other disciplines such as the information systems and education. To conduct action research in the HRM field, guidelines and principles are written to help the researcher to plan and implement the change project.
