Abstract:With the world getting more and more digital, a lot of businesses are shifting their focus on the digital ecosystem to stay relevant to their target audience. With the advent of new digital technologies such as AI, Cloud, Big Data etc, it is getting imperative for businesses to create the right digital strategies to engage with users in never seen before ways and to add more and more value for their users in various innovative and engaging ways. Esports is an industry whose entire existence is digital. In recent years, Esports has grown by leaps and bounds and so has the sponsorship in Esports. In this paper, the author tries to study how Esports teams can create digital strategies to add more value for their sponsors. The author uses existing literature around this topic in combination with expert interviews to recommend digital strategies that can be employed by Esports teams to add value for their sponsors.
