Abstract:This research is about the assessment of Robotic Processs Automation(RPA) in Dutch hospitals. The research explores which criteria are used for determining process suitability for RPA application in hospitals. Next, it highlights where at which departments and at which processes RPA currently is applied in hospitals and why it is applied. The acceptance of the new technology is analyzed through the use of the Technology Organization Environment and Technology Acceptance Model (TOE-TAM). The usefulness of this model for this technology at hospitals is also analyzed. The answers results in this research were gathered by doing literature research and interviewing Dutch hospitals which are and have implemented RPA in processes at their hospitals.
