| Abstract: | Sentiment analysis can be used to help decision making on the stock market. By analyzing news articles, a computer can attempt to predict a change in stock price for the company that the news article is about. Through sentence removal in news articles, the influence context has on the performance of sentiment analysis on the articles is examined. The results show no significant change to the accuracy when the context is removed from the paragraphs. |
