| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the motivations of private company X for adopting the A3 approach to open strategizing. By conducting an explorative case study at private company X, a view was created on the motivations that could lead to them adopting the A3 approach. Besides this, interviews were held with two educational organizations that use the A3 approach. The goal of these interviews was to gain insight into their motivations for adopting the A3 approach and to evaluate their concrete experiences with the use of the A3 approach. Finally, research is done on the influence of the presence of diagnostic control systems on the motivations for adopting the A3 approach. |
