Abstract:The goal of this research is to provide a holistic change management method to implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) in business processes. A holistic change management method, in the context of this study, is referred to as a method that incorporates every aspect of change from people to processes to strategy. The goal of the research is motivated by the increased interest and application of AI in business processes in practice, which is only predicted to rise. This study investigates requirements a holistic change management method to implement AI should have. The requirements identified are: AI vision, process identification, continuous feedback, AI leadership and AI governance. Based on these insights, the Cycle of Change for AI is created. This provides change agents with a continuously improving holistic change management plan to implement AI in business processes.
