Abstract:Sustainability has recently been a hot topic and many millennials show their concern about the future of our planet. The rising environmental problems are heavily discussed and it is shown that it is caused by human behavior. In order to preserve the planet, it is needed to understand why individuals do not behave sustainably. The purpose of this study is to explore the intention-behavior gap that is occurring among millennials. This research examines the possible dissonance reduction strategies that millennials use in different domains of sustainability.
