| Abstract: | Koskamp B.V. is the market leader in the Netherlands wholesaling more than 1.1 million different products in the automotive branch. The company delivers their products within 1.5 hours to their customers by using their own developed logistics network consisting of about one hundred delivery routes. Currently, there is no simple way to get real-time insight into the performance of the delivery routes. This thesis contains a systematic literature review to get insight into the optimal KPIs to be able to monitor the performance of the delivery routes, recognize potential improvements, and have insight if the turnover increase results in higher profits. Furthermore, this thesis contains theories about real-time data management and theories about visualizing KPIs and analyses for business intelligence (BI-) practices. These theories have been used to develop and implement real-time BI-dashboards into Qlik Sense to provide information for better business decision making. An analyzing protocol including a demonstration of the capabilities of the implemented dashboards is included in this study. |
