Abstract:The swash flow is simulated with a simple hydrodynamic model used as a tool to calculate the bed shear stresses. The Colebrook method and the Swart method are turbulent water flow methods used to simulate the swash bed shear stress. The goal of the thesis is to compared the two methods and see which method is the most representative. To choose the best method it has to be tested on different cases with velocity and beach slope as variables.
