Abstract:In this article a research was conducted on whether an experience-based lesson set, founded on the model of Kolb (1984), will lead to learning results in a VMBO class. Also was examined whether a different learning preference was related to difference in learning results, approach and appreciation of this lesson set. The results showed that the lesson set leaded to learning results. Also a different approach from students with different learning preferences was apparent. The results showed no difference in learning results and appreciation of this lesson set by the pupils with different learning preferences. For the practical application of the results it means that if pupils are offered all phases of the cycle of Kolb (1984) in a lesson set, it will lead to learning results, regardless of the learning preference of the student.
