| Abstract: | The goal of this thesis is to give the Lamin Health Center advice about how they can use E-Health with their patient identification problem. This results in the research question: How can E-Health help solve the patient identification problem in the Lamin Health Center? To answer this question, the Managerial Problem Solving-Method (MPSM) was used. First, a systematic literature review was done with the method of Wolfswinkel et al., 2013. The results of the literature research were put into a conceptual framework. This model represents the cause-effect relations between the found variables, using arrows. Figure 1 presents the framework. So, if the acceptance of the system is high, the funding is stable and well regulated, the system is built sustainably and the system performs on the desired level, then will the identification system successful. Acceptance is the extent to which people are willing to adopt the use of a particular identification system. Funding is defined as how the system is being paid for, and how the government supports new developments in identification systems. Sustainability is the capability of the system to be supported and maintained, and performance is defined as the achievable recognition accuracy and speed of an identification system. |
