Abstract:The study examines the impact of technology on the quality of the relationship between line managers and employees. The results show that there is an influence of the technology on trust perception among employees. Also, it sheds light on the importance of good coordination between operational and strategic levels at the organization with regards to the introduction and application of new technological systems. Namely, line managers are an essential element who take on the role of direct supervisors and also a connection point between the employees and the organization. Further the study emphasizes that logical and clear messages should be sent to employees about the objectives and the necessity of applying technology.
