Abstract:Strukton Civiel Noord & Oost, a construction company, would like to double its market share of concrete roads. This study focusses on finding the optimal workers capacity when they would do the projects that are needed in order to double their market share. To find the optimal capacity, the context is analysed and a literature review is conducted. To determine what the capacity should be if the market share is doubled, two scenarios are drafted which represent a possible future planning. In this planning six different project types emerge, which have different capacity needs. The scenarios are analysed to find the daily demand of workers. The daily demand of workers is used for the optimization. The optimization gives an insight in what the optimal workers capacity should be when the market share is doubled.
