| Abstract: | The goal of the bachelor thesis is to research and develop a news aggregation and validation system. In order to do so research on related work and literature is conducted, allowing to create a base for the following points of discussion. Here the focus is on researching properties of the user interface and methods of news verification. After the researched elements are used in order to specify and conceptualise the platform and its design. Moreover it is concluded which method regarding news verification is used. Next the realisation of and implementation of the news aggregator and news verifier are discussed. Here each step is discussed individually that is necessary to realise and complete the project. Finally an evaluation takes place which incorporates the creation three scenarios, a survey, and usability testing. The results shows that the system in general is perceived positively. However the feedback shows as well that a more detailed focused approach can enhance the total experience. |
