Abstract:The purpose of this research is to gain more insight on the experiences and satisfaction of parents and healthcare professionals at the child consultation clinic, by using short information videos. In addition was an aim to determine whether showing of information videos had an impact on the satisfaction and the health literacy levels of the parents. Three studies were conducted. At first a quasi-experimental design has been performed. A group parents received the short information videos, the second group parents did not. Second, structured interviews with seven healthcare professionals which have used the information videos are performed. Thirdly, structured interviews with ten parents which saw the information videos were performed. The results: The parents are generally satisfied with the consultations. A notable point was that parents,who were low littered, gave a higher satisfaction score when they received the short information videos. The healthcare professionals and parents found that the information videos added a value during the face to face consultations and on the child consultation clinic, especially mentioned they that the information videos provide insight through visualization as an advantage. The parents and healthcare professionals prefer to use the short information videos in the future when certain conditions were achieved
