| Abstract: | In 2010 Spyker Squadron choose to stop racing with their C8 La Violette GT2-R, and instead focus their attention on the new C8 Aileron, illustrated in the image below. The race car is due in December of 2011, in order to be ready to enter the 2012 Le Mans Series. Along with a team of race car engineers, a 3-D model of the bodywork will be created to fit the race version of the road car. This bachelor report will illustrate the entire process of transforming the road car’s exterior into that of a GTE spec. racer. |
