Abstract:This research explores how Product-Service Systems can support the transition towards a Circular Economy at Schiphol. In order to support this transition, Circular Economy and Product-Service Systems are explored together with decision making at Schiphol. This leads to the development of a Decision Framework with a Pricing Tool which can be used in order to determine if a Product-Service System is a good alternative for traditional asset purchase and management and to get a good price indication on what such a service may cost. The framework and Pricing Tool are validated using a Case Study at Schiphol regarding Light-as-a-Service. Conclusion is that Product-Service Systems can be a good alternative and the framework together with the tool support thorough decision making.
