Abstract:This bachelor's thesis is about the search behavior of motivated people into information on the internet. With this knowledge there can be anticipated on the search behavior of motivated people. In addition, companies or agencies can use the knowledge gained from this research to design their websites, so the information will be found, read and obtained by the target group. In this bachelor thesis search behavior of amateur cyclists into beetroot juice on the internet has been analyzed. By means of a screen recorder and the 'think aloud' method the search behavior and motivation of certain choices is captured. The study shows that google mostly used to obtain comprehensive information quickly. When a website is listed high in the Google and has an appealing title and / or contains scientific information, the website is visited. The majority of the websites is read carefully and the core of information is absorbed. The advantage found by the cyclists is that it improves oxygen uptake and the main disadvantage is that it can be carcinogenic. The information found is interpreted as accessible, reliable, valuable and clearly. The cyclist are neutral when it comes to drinking beetroot juice themselves, recommending others to drink beetroot juice or informing others about the advantages and disadvantages of beetroot juice.
