Abstract:In rehabilitation centers Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an increasingly used therapy, also in rehabilitation center ‘het Roessingh’. The evaluation of the rehabilitation program show positive effects, but at the posttest three to six months later, the effects already appear to be somewhat lower. The transition from the treatment to the home situation turns out to be big. Therefore, rehabilitation center ‘het Roessingh’ developed an aftercare application “NaDien”, based on ACT, with the aim to support the patients in their home situation. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the application “NaDien” among chronic pain patients, professionals and experts, and on this basis suggest implementations for the application. "NaDien" is evaluated on the basis of the think aloud method, in which scenarios were completed. The outcomes are then analyzed for each aspect of usability (i.e. system quality, content quality and service quality). The application was generally perceived as userfriendly by the respondents. With regard to the system quality, there were particular observations on the ease of use, such as ambiguities and things that were not logical. The content quality was assessed as good, all that the respondents need was incorporated in the application, only a manual was missing. Regarding the service quality, almost all parts were considered useful, though the respondents would like the application to be somewhat more interactive. Generally there is already a good line in the application, but there are still some small improvement that would increase the patients involvement.
