Abstract:Because of policy changes and chancing law and regulations housing associations, care providers and municipalities are forced to work together on the development of care related housing.Care providers no longer have the money to develop there own real estate and housing associations are not allowed to provide care, but reforced o evelop care related housing by the BBSH. And with the oncoming WMO municipalities become responsible not only for wellbeing, but also for care related matter that is now still part of the AWBZ. Further the separation of care and housing and the stimulation of competition in healthcare does not make it easer to work together. So how is it possible,in this complex situation,to give successfully shape to the cooperation. Organisations that are not used to work together, suddenly need to cooperate in developing complex projects. Whereby not only working together is new, but also the concept of a service zone. The main goal of this research is making recommendations on how to give shape to the cooperation between housing association, care provider and municipality by the development of a service zone. The WMO is also taken into account.
